Product Description
The CCTV Camera Rain Sun Shield Cover 270x220 Turret Dome (SKU BRK-RAIN-COVER-HAT-270X220-W) is a plastic hood that sits above an outdoor camera. It is a passive accessory, so it needs no power and no recording channel.
What each feature does for the picture
- Curved hood: extends over the camera as a canopy while leaving the viewing angle open.
- Rain protection: helps stop droplets building up directly on the lens, so footage stays clearer in wet weather.
- Sun protection: helps reduce glare from strong sunlight.
- Weather resistant, durable plastic: made for long-term outdoor use on building exteriors, entrances and perimeter walls.
What you get, and what you need to add
The pack includes mounting screws and wall plugs. The bracket mounts above the camera on a wall or flat surface.
It is designed for turret and dome security cameras. Before drilling, compare your camera's body with the hood's 270x220 size so you know the canopy will sit over it properly.
You supply the camera, a drill and a screwdriver. The camera keeps its own power and cabling, and the shield does not change them.
