Product Description
The 19" 6U 600mm Black Network Cabinet - Wall Rack for Patch Panel & LAN (SKU CABINET-6U-600) is a steel, wall-mounted enclosure for 19-inch rack equipment. LAN means local area network.
What the specs mean for you
- 6U: one rack unit (U) is 44.45mm of mounting height, so six units gives roughly 267mm of rack space. That suits a small stack of patch panels, switches or routers.
- 600mm wide × 600mm deep × 370mm high (external): the 600mm depth leaves extra internal room for deeper devices and cable management.
- Lockable front door: limits access to the installed equipment, while still opening for maintenance.
- Ventilated panels: these support passive airflow. Cooling is by openings, so check the heat output of any active equipment you plan to fit.
- Steel with black powder-coated finish: a durable, neat-looking housing for a comms cupboard or office.
Where it fits
It is used for structured cabling, small network installations and CCTV equipment. Equipment needs to be in 19-inch rack format to mount directly. Choose wall fixings to suit your wall, as the cabinet will carry the weight of everything you install.
Measure your available wall space against the 600mm width and depth before you order.
