12U Black Server Rack Data Network Cabinet - Wall/Floor Mounted, Lockable

The 12U Black Server Rack Data Network Cabinet - Wall/Floor Mounted, Lockable (SKU CABINET-12U-300) is a small steel cabinet for network and CCTV (closed-circuit television) equipment. It is sized for small to medium installations.

Key specs

• Capacity: 12U. A rack unit (U) is a standard measure of mounting height, so this gives you twelve units of rail space.
• Overall size: 30cm W x 30cm D x 61cm H (300mm depth).
• Finish: black-coated steel.
• Mounting: wall or floor.
• Door: lockable, tempered glass front.
• Rails: adjustable 19-inch rack rails.
• Airflow: ventilation slots on the front and sides, plus a vented rear panel.
• Access: removable side panels. Cable entry points in the top and bottom panels.

What that means in practice

The glass door lets you see the equipment while the cabinet stays locked. The cabinet houses servers, patch panels, routers and CCTV systems.

Depth is the figure to measure against. The cabinet is 30cm deep overall, and cables need room behind the equipment. A shallow patch panel or router is an easier fit than a long server.

Cable entry at both top and bottom lets you bring cables in from above or below. Removable side panels give access to the equipment without taking it out of the rails.
