The 18U wall mount network rack cabinet provides a secure and organised enclosure for installation of standard 19-inch rack-mounted networking and communications equipment. With external dimensions of 600 mm width, 450 mm depth and approximately 900 mm height, the cabinet offers increased rack capacity for medium-sized network infrastructure deployments.
Constructed from steel with a black powder-coated finish, the cabinet is designed to provide durable protection for installed equipment while maintaining a professional installation appearance. The lockable front door helps prevent unauthorised access to installed hardware while allowing easy access for system maintenance and equipment installation.
The 450 mm cabinet depth allows installation of rack-mounted switches, patch panels, routers, NVRs and other network devices commonly used in structured cabling and CCTV installations. The cabinet supports the standard 19-inch rack format used across networking and telecommunications equipment.
Ventilation openings are integrated into the cabinet design to assist airflow and passive cooling of active devices installed within the rack. The cabinet can be mounted to a wall to maximise available floor space or positioned on the floor where wall installation is not practical.
This type of rack cabinet is commonly used in office network rooms, communications cupboards, CCTV control installations and structured cabling environments requiring organised equipment mounting and secure equipment housing.
