The 1 1/2" Comer Economy Valve - Double Union PVC Ball Valve EPDM O-Rings - PVC Ball Valve Socket (EPDM) 1½" is a shut-off valve for 1½" PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipework, listed for industrial applications.
What the specs mean in practice
- Double union: a union sits on each side of the valve body. Undo both and the body lifts out, so you can service or replace it without cutting the pipe run.
- EPDM O-rings: EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is the rubber used for the seals.
- Socket ends: the pipe fits into a socket on each side of the valve.
- 1½" size: it matches 1½" PVC pipe and fittings.
