The SPL-3-6 lever nut wire connector is a compact electrical splicing terminal designed for quick and reliable cable connections. The connector provides 3 input ports and 6 output ports, allowing electrical supply lines to be distributed to multiple conductors from a single wiring point.
The connector uses a lever-lock clamping mechanism that allows installers to connect wires without using screws, crimp tools or soldering. By lifting the lever, inserting the stripped wire and pressing the lever down, a secure spring-loaded connection is created. This tool-free design significantly reduces wiring time and simplifies installation.
Most connectors of this type support rated voltages around 250-450V and currents up to approximately 32A, making them suitable for standard electrical and lighting circuits.
The housing is typically manufactured from flame-retardant plastic with internal tinned copper contacts, providing good insulation and electrical conductivity. These connectors can accept solid, stranded or flexible wires within a range of roughly 0.08mm² to 4mm², allowing compatibility with many electrical wiring types used in buildings.
