Product Description
The Roller Lever Micro Switch 3 Terminal SPDT Momentary Limit Switch changes its electrical state when a moving part pushes the lever. It is a mechanical switch, so it needs no logic board to work.
What the specs mean in use
- SPDT (single pole double throw): one common contact that connects to one of two others. You get a circuit that closes when the lever moves, or one that opens, from the same switch.
- Three terminals: COM (common), NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed). Use COM and NO for a circuit that closes on actuation. Use COM and NC for one that opens.
- Momentary: the switch returns to rest when the lever is released. It does not latch.
- Metal roller lever: the roller turns against a cam, lever or moving assembly instead of dragging across it. That reduces friction and wear on repeated operation.
- Snap-action mechanism: gives a consistent switching point and a distinct click.
What else you need
A moving part to contact the roller, a low-voltage control circuit, and wiring to the three terminals. The compact body suits panel or device installation.
Typical uses
Limit detection on moving assemblies, door position sensing, machine control panels, arcade controls, robotics and hobby electronics projects.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the three terminals for?
They are COM (common), NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed). COM is the shared connection, and you choose NO or NC depending on whether the circuit should close or open when the lever is pressed.
What does momentary mean on this switch?
The switch only changes state while the lever is held down. It returns to its resting position when released.
Can it be used for door position sensing?
Yes. Door position sensing is one of the listed uses, alongside limit detection on moving assemblies and machine control panels.
Why does the lever have a roller?
The roller reduces friction and wear when cams, levers or other moving parts trigger the switch repeatedly.
