CCTV High-Gain Microphone - Indoor/Outdoor Audio Module with RCA & 2.1mm Jack

A high-gain microphone module for CCTV systems, built for indoor and outdoor installation. It picks up audio near a camera and feeds it back to your recorder, adding sound to your existing video coverage.

Connections

• RCA audio jack — connects to a recorder's audio input, where the recorded sound will be paired with video.
• 2.1mm jack — the DC power connector for the module itself.

Both connectors are provided so wiring stays straightforward: one line carries the audio signal out, the other brings power in. Check your recorder has a free audio input channel before fitting, since not every DVR or NVR accepts audio on every channel.

Fitting notes

Mount it close to the area you want to capture sound from — proximity affects clarity more than cable length. Because it's rated for indoor and outdoor use, it can sit near an outdoor camera as well as inside a room, though you should still keep the run to the recorder as short and tidy as practical.
