Push-in connector Straight (SKU FESTO-QS-6) joins two lengths of pneumatic tube end to end. Both sides take 6mm outside diameter tube, so one fitting makes one in-line joint with no change of direction or size.
What each spec means in use
- Push-pull connection: tube is pushed in to fit and released to remove. A run can be re-made during maintenance without replacing the fitting.
- Blue release rings: these are the parts you use to disconnect a tube.
- PBT housing: PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a plastic, which keeps the body light.
- NBR seals: NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) is the sealing material inside the fitting.
- Stainless-steel gripping components: these hold the tube once it is pushed in.
