The Kite TD50 50mm Packing Tape Dispenser 2 Inch Carton Sealing Gun (SKU TD50-KITE) is a handheld tool for putting tape onto box seams. You load a roll, run the gun along the carton, and cut the tape at the end of the seam.

Specs, and what they mean at the packing bench

• 50mm (2 inch) tape width. This is the usual width for sealing cartons. Narrower or wider rolls are not what this gun is built for.
• 3 inch core. The roll must have a 3 inch cardboard core to sit on the dispenser. Standard carton sealing tapes use this size.
• Metal frame. Built for regular use at packing stations, in warehouses and on distribution lines.
• Serrated steel blade at the front. The tape is cut on the tool, so no scissors or knife are needed.
• Adjustable brake tension. This sets how hard the roll is to turn. A firmer setting stops the roll spinning on and overrunning. A lighter one lets tape pull off more freely.
• Pistol grip. The angled handle keeps your wrist in a steady position and lets you press evenly along the seam.

The dispenser does not make tape. You need rolls that match the width and core above. If your current tape is a different width or core size, check it before choosing this model.
