Apple AirTag without Box

The Apple AirTag without Box (SKU Apple-AirTag-NO-BOX) is a single Bluetooth tracker with a new sealed battery, supplied without retail packaging. Attach it to something you can't afford to lose, then look for it in the Find My app.

What each spec gives you

• Bluetooth: the radio link between the tracker and your Apple device.
• Ultra Wideband (UWB): enables Precision Finding, which points you towards the item instead of only showing an area on a map.
• NFC (near-field communication): a short-range link that lets a phone read the tracker when held against it.
• IP67 water resistance: IP stands for ingress protection. This is the rating for the tracker's resistance to water.
• Lost Mode: a Find My setting for marking an item you can't locate.

What else you need

An Apple device running iOS 14.5 or later. The tracker is managed through Find My, so the phone or tablet you plan to use must meet that version. Precision Finding relies on Ultra Wideband, so it also depends on the handset you search with.

No other hardware is involved. There is no recorder, hub or network setup.
